Str8 began playing SVR in late 2007 under the PSN: Str8EdgeMizfit for 4 years. He worked independently with no knowledge of glitching or hacking. In SVR 2011, fellow SVR online players taught him how to freeze. Str8 would then adopt a "cheating gimmick" where he only won matches by freezing and using DQ glitches on his opponents. Str8 was later hated by most SVR online players and excluded from matches. In April 2011, he joined a small clan named DOM1NATION, that has died since its inception due to a small amount of members.
Era of Destruction (EOD) June 2011

On June 13th, 2011, Str8 befriended fellow SVR online player, jrw_87, and was later recruited to the clan known as EOD. Str8 continued his ongoing "cheater gimmick" and was a heel in his early days in EOD. Str8 was later informed that he would challenge EoR_CozDaHitman at Night of Icons 2011, EOD's biggest PPV of the year for the EOD Hardcore Championship. Str8's arrogant attitude had made him demand a shot at the EoD World Title after he thought his match with Coz was for the World Title. Fellow EOD Member EOD_ATTITUDE_ER4 (Manager), World Champion at the time, had accepted Str8's challenge, with the Hardcore Championship on the line. ER4 went on to defeat Str8 and won the HC Championship that night. Str8 had set a new record for the shortest HC Title reign in history with 30 minutes.
Undisputed Wrestling Alliance (UWA)

In mid June 2011, EOD had announced its change to UWA and Str8 decided to stay with UWA instead of xCWS. Str8 had competed in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match for the vacant UWA World Heavweight Championship after EOD changed to UWA. UlitimoDragon went on to defeat Str8Edge and Y2SKilled in that match to become UWA's inaugural World Champion. In July 2011, Str8 won an Elimination Chamber to become #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship against RDK at Blackout. RDK went on to defeat Str8Edge in a Last Man Standing Match and retained the UWA World Heavyweight Championship.

In early August 2011, Str8Edge recruited long time SVR friend nicolas207 to UWA where they formed a tag team called Corporate Genocide. They later won #1 Contendership for the UWA Tag Team Championships, but never received them because of the retirement of the titles in August 2011. nicolas207 was later released from his contract in UWA and the team broke up.
Singles competition; World Heavyweight Championship hunt; Rivalry with Dragon

After the release of nicolas207, Str8Edge focused on singles competition and winning the UWA World Heavyweight Championship. Str8 and Dragon had very controversial history behind themselves and the rivalry would be taken to new depths in September 2011. After Dragon's inability to defend the World Heavyweight Championship for 30 days, Dragon was stripped of the World Title by Manager and the title was once again vacant, along with Dragon's US Championship. At UWA Goldrush, Str8Edge competed in a 6 Man Elimination Chamber for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship and was successful in doing so. This would be Str8's first reign as World Heavyweight Champion. 2 days later, Dragon returned to UWA and found out that his titles were stripped. Dragon was awarded a title rematch for the World Title, but Str8 successfully defended against Dragon and retained the World Heavyweight Championship. Shortly later, the Golden Glory Tournament was invented by UWA CEO, Manager, and was won by the CEO himself. Manager announced that at UWA Castigation, Manager would face Str8Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing Match. Manager would deliver an RKO to a beaten down STR8 and win the match. However, due to both men not being able to reach the 10 count, STR8EDGE remained World Champion.
STP Inception; Heel Turn

On September 27, 2011 Str8 assembled fellow members Thor and Punisher to form STP. At the 2011 UWA Slammy Awards, STP interrupted and made a challenge to one of UWA's greatest tag teams in history, The Corporation. No answer was made. On November 20, 2011, at UWA High $takes, Str8EdgeX lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Manager in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, after the match he refused to shake Manager's hand. The next night on a UWA House Show, STP held a celebratory party for Manager for winning the World Title. STP assaulted Manager and turned heel during the process. Manager was carried out on a stretcher as sXe held the World Title above Manager's head. The following week Str8EdgeX announced that he would invoke his rematch clause for the World Heavyweight Championship at Tribute to the Troops in a TLC Match, a match he would brag on about hw he was undefeated in that match. Str8EdgeX also had a run-in with JTW. They would later on agree to a match at Final Fallout on 12.25.11 where the loser would retire from UWA. At Tribute to the Troops 2011 Str8Edte defeated Manager for the UWA World Heavyweight Championship in a TLC Match, a match he would go on to brag about being undefeated in. The following night Manager announced that he would face Str8EdgeX for the UWA World Heavyweight Championship at Final Fallout due to his Rematch Clause. At Final Fallout Str8Edgex def. JTW, therefore JTW was fired. Later that night he retained his UWA World Heavyweight Championship against Manager. On Dec. 26, Str8EdgeX def. Assassin in a United States Championship tournament match to qualify for the finals against newcomer Walls.
